"
We booked the band for our wedding reception in September this year, and the
girls were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We first saw them busking
in Huddersfield town centre, their style of music was a perfect fit for the
theme of our wedding. I approached them and asked if they would be interested
in playing a set, and took their details. I later contacted them and paid
a deposit to secure them for the day. Their whole service was fantastic! A
few months before our big day Eryl unfortunately broke her collar bone. They
were really quick to let us know about it and offered our deposit back to
us if we wanted to cancel. We said no because we wanted them to play, and
by the time the wedding day came around she was
much better. Our plans on the day didn’t quite go as we’d imagined
and the girls had to sit around for a little while longer than anticipated
while we had dinner, but they didn’t spit their dummies out at all,
they just got back up and carried on playing when we were ready for them.
The first half of their set was very
good, but the second half was simply fantastic! The dance floor was packed
and we were all singing along. They were open to requests for songs that we
knew were part of their repertoire, and they even learned some new songs specifically
for us! We had so many people asking us where we had found the band and saying
how brilliant they were. Their performance and their music just went so well
with our day and it was a pleasure to have them there. Eryl and Clare are
two very talented musicians and two very lovely people, and I would recommend
them to anyone!"
